Easy Russian?

Novodevichiy.jpgYes, I know, Russian is generally considered as one of the most difficult languages to learn, along with Arabic, Chinese and Hebrew. People who choose to study it provoke all sorts of reactions, ranging from admiration (what a challenge!) to puzzlement (what on earth do they need it for?). Despite all this, I claim loud and clear that learning Russian can be easy, enjoyable and fun. I’m not a miracle-worker: I don’t use hypnosis, and I can’t promise you to teach you the Russian language in ten days’ time. After having learnt two foreign languages (I’m on my third now), I do realise that learning a language requires a minimum of effort. However, my philosophy is to simplify things, not to complicate them, and I can prove to you that learning a foreign language, even one that has a reputation of being difficult, is much easier than you might think.

That’s what you can do on the site:

-  get free lessons, exercises, flashcards and other useful stuff

test your level

subscribe to free weekly e-mail lessons (available for two levels: Beginner and Intermediate to Advanced)

apply for one-to-one lessons with me via Skype (the first trial lesson is free)

If you’re looking for something in particular, use “Search” feature. I add new content twice a week, and as I try to write real lessons and not just grammar tables that you can easily find elsewhere, some grammar sections aren’t complete yet. You can subscribe to the newsletter to be sure you don’t miss anything.
